First love is such sweet despair.

And amidst the chaos of the people around me, the stress brought by the rain, the awkward feeling I got from my wet shoes, and the hundreds and thousands of things going on in my head each screaming out their importance as if trying to pop my eardrums, I saw him.
He was staring right at me,…

Seeing the TLC perform two of their greatest hits on Idol, after a long hiatus, was really refreshing. This was the kind of music my juvenile and carefree self grew up to. I remembered lying on the bed watching music videos all day, from ballads of Vertical Horizon to the upbeat songs of Blue, to the young pop legends at the time - Spears and Aguilera that did just about any stunt to be on top of the charts. Even the “Gaga” in Lady Gaga in the yesteryears was much more classic. Yes, I’m talking about Madonna. I’m sorry but even the general programming for kids and teens was way better. Numerous shows can match to that assumption, but my top picks which are All That, The Amanda Show, That’s So Raven, Lizzie Mcguire, Hey Arnold! had all the right mix that got me hooked. Too bad, Disney and Nickelodeon can’t keep up now. I hope as soon as I have kids, they will finally get it right again haha.
Here’s to the happy days of my childhood, and to my favorite decade that is the 90’s!
Matter of fact is, people will inevitably like things they don’t or can’t have.
